Cheer Summer Camp

Camp Description
This camp is geared towards educating young girls and boys in the sport and performance of cheerleading. It is open to beginner through intermediate cheerleaders. Your child will learn game cheers, stunts, tumbling and a halftime performance dance. We will separate the camp into beginner and intermediate levels according to the number enrolled in camp. There will be a performance to showcase what they have learned on the Friday of camp.


The Details
This camp will run in one session: Jul 15-Jul 19, 2024 from 9:00 am-3:00 pm daily.

The cost of a 5-day session of this camp is $540. This camp is open to kids entering grades 1 through 7 in August 2024. Each camper will receive a t-shirt, water bottle, and drawstring backpack. Lunch is available for an additional fee (click here for details). Extended care is also available for an additional fee (click here for details).


The Coaches
Coach Abbie Williamson:
Abbie is an MVHS Cheer Alumni and is approaching 14 years of cheer experience, and it all started with Cheer Camp at MVHS! Abbie comes to us with 8 seasons of competitive All-Star cheer with Gold Star All Stars and 4 seasons of varsity MVHS Spartan Cheer; captain of 21’-22. She loves coaching kids and has 5 years of experience coaching gymnastics and All-Star cheer.
Coach CC Cordero:
CC started as a Pop Warner cheerleader at age 5 and went on to coach cheer and dance since she was 15yrs old. She is a coach and choreographer for Mountain View High School and Gold Star All Star cheer and dance. Her teams have been Pop Warner National Champions, High School CCS, State & National Champions, All Star National Champions, Summit Finalists and Dance Worlds Cup Champions. CC has also been a member of the USASF Dance Worlds board and has presented at cheer and dance conventions and clinics, including Varsity University, and is a certified YCADA judge.


COVID Protocol
COVID vaccinations are recommended, but not required. Modifications to activities and other measures will be in place to reduce the risk of COVID. All state and local regulations will be followed.
