Camp Description
Note: Campers must be strong swimmers in order to participate in the camp. No water polo experience is necessary.

This camp will use drills, skill games, and splash ball-like scrimmages to introduce and develope fundamental water polo skills like swimming, treading, passing, and shooting.

Led by current Spartan coaches and players, the Girls Water Polo Camp will be a great chance to meet new friends, learn a great sport, enjoy the newly constructed pool facility, and have fun!

The Coaches
Coach Emily Enlow: Emily Enlow has been coaching the JV Girls Water Polo team since 2010 and completed her first year as Varsity head coach in 2018. Emily began playing water polo in college on a club team and has loved the sport ever since. One of her favorite parts about coaching is sharing the sport with future players. She currently plays water polo on the UC Santa Cruz club team and helps coach and play on the Peninsula water polo women's masters team. Emily is currently working on her PhD in Electrical Engineering at UC Santa Cruz.
Coach Drew Enlow: Drew Enlow has been coaching water polo at Mountain View High School since 2010. From 2010-2017, Drew was the varsity girls head coach. In addition to coaching the Spartans to be the CCS championship game in 2017, players from Drew's Peninsula Water Polo team won gold medals at the USA Water Polo Masters National Championships, and at the FINA World Championships. Coach Drew has been playing and coaching water polo for 20 years and is excited to coach the Spartans Sports Camp. After swimming at Blue Valley Northwest High School in Overland Park, Kansas, Drew went to Iowa State University where he was a Collegiate Water Polo Association All Academic, All Conference, and All American player. As a graduate student at ISU, he continued coaching the team and in 2006, led them to the National Collegiate Club Championship Tournament.
