Tennis I-Preparing for Middle School competition|
This tennis course prepares players for competition at the middle school level
where many players are introduced to competitive tennis. Emphasis for this course
is placed upon acquiring the fundamental skills of stance, grip, contact point,
follow through and recovery, as well as the basic strokes of volleys, ground strokes,
service and service returns . What is unique about Coach Frank’s method is that
greater emphasis is placed upon the non dominant hand in setting up strokes for
the dominant hand. In addition players begin to recognize where defense ends and
offense begins, and where offense ends and defense begins, two important distinctions
that enable players to be more fully prepared for their next stroke.
This camp will run in one session: July 10-July 14, 2017 from 9:00am-3:00pm daily.|
