Tennis II-Preparing for High School Tennis
This tennis course prepares players for competition at the high school level.
Many of the same fundamentals contained in Tennis I are included in Tennis II.
In addition players in this course are encouraged to develop their footwork for
greater mobility and position recovery towards the middle. The split step is
introduced, the cross over step for recovery, and the importance of keeping
the feet active. Greater emphasis on the development of the serve is introduced
with placement along with first and second serves.
This camp will run in one session: July 17-July 21, 2017 from 9:00am-3:00pm daily.|
The cost of a 5-day session of this camp is $375. This camp is open to kids entering grades 6
through 9 in August 2017. Each camper will receive a hat, t-shirt, water bottle, and drawstring backpack. Lunch is available for an additional fee (click here for details). Extended care is also available for an additional fee (click here for details).

Coach Frank is in his 14th year as tennis coach at MVHS for both boys and girls teams.
He is a certified teaching professional with the PTR. Coach Frank has participated in the
junior team tennis program at Cuesta Park for over 12 years and he has helped many players
move on to play high school tennis at Mountain View High School.
